Igloos

How much space do I need for an igloo hire?

The medium igloo has a 2.5m base diameter and requires 3m diameter space, while the large igloo has a 3.2 base diameter, and requires 4m diameter space. All igloos need to be placed on a flat area of grass, hard standing surface, or smooth paving. We require side access to your garden.

What are the igloos constructed of?

Our igloos are made of aerospace aluminium and have a PVC cover that can withstand heavy rain and snow and accommodate anywhere from 2-10 people depending on furniture choices.

Do the igloos have power?

Yes, all igloos come with plug and play compatibility and a vintage 4-W bulb lighting system. We will need access to power within 20 meters of the igloo. Heating comes as standard.

How long is your hire period?

The standard hire period is 1 – 3 days, for longer periods or a corporate hire please drop us a message.

How much does it cost to hire a Hygge Igloo?

The cost of hire can vary and is dependent on the size of the igloo and design package – we offer both flexibility and versatility within our range of designs and are happy to discuss your specific requirements to provide a fully itemised quote. Please contact us for corporate rates.

What do you provide in the package?

This is dependent on the package, as a minimum our Essential Hygge Design provides flooring, heating and lighting. For information on all other packages please click here.

How many guests can I have in my Hygge Igloo?

The large igloo can accommodate up to 10 guests, with up to 6 guests in our medium igloo depending on the styling and design. Please contact us for further information.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Our igloos can withstand winds of up to 30mp, rain and snow. In the event of adverse weather conditions or forecasted conditions we reserve the right to cancel the hire without notice. In this instance we will offer an alternative date for the hire or if this is not possible a full refund will be given.

Hygge Sleepovers

How much space do I need for a Hygge Sleepover?

The total space requirement for each bed is 115 cm x 210cm space, depending on where the tables are placed, if space is limited, we can place the trays on the bed or elsewhere. Please check that you have sufficient space ahead of confirming your booking.

What are the teepees made of?

Our frames are wooden and secured with a cross bar on both sides of the tent. Tent cover fabric is made up of 100% Oxford polyester cloth, which has been fully CE tested and certified.

How long is your hire period?

Our Hygge Sleepover equipment is generally hired for one or two days, do let us know if you would like it a little longer.

How much does a Hygge Sleepover Cost?

Our costs start at £90 for a two Teepee set up and increases with the number of tents required plus any optional extras. Please click here for further information or to get in touch with us.

What is provided as standard with a Hygge Sleepover?

Each teepee comes with the following as standard. Optional extras depend on your requirements, drop us a line and we will be happy to discuss.

  • A teepee for each guest
  • Comfy foam mattress and fitted cotton sheets​.
  • Cushions
  • Fairy lights (battery operated)
  • A breakfast tray for each guest
  • Anti-allergy 10.5 tog duvet
  • Cosy soft blankets
  • Night lights for each guest
  • Mini glass bottles for each guest
  • Flowers attached to the frame (dependant on) theme

How many guests can I have?

We can accommodate up to 10 guest per party, however this is totally dependent on your space, if you would like to invite more guests then let us know, we will do our best to support you.

How long does it take to set up a Hygge Sleepover event?

It can take approx. 90 mins to set up depending on the theme and number of teepees hired for your event. Set up is generally arranged for mid-morning, however this is dependent on the number of parties booked. We will confirm times with you well in advance of your event.

What age range are the teepees suitable for?

Our teepees are aimed at children between the ages of 6-11, we can cater for ages either side and for older children would recommend that you look at our igloo hire as an alternative.

Can we camp outside in the teepee?

Unfortunately not, our teepees and wigwams are for indoor use only. If you are looking to hold an event in the garden it may be worth you considering hiring one of our igloos, contact us for further information.

General FAQ’s

What areas do you cover?

We cover Berkshire, Buckingham, Hampshire, Oxfordshire & Surrey and offer free delivery and setup if you live within 15 mile radius of RG5. If you live outside of this area, a travel or delivery fee may apply. Please get in touch to see how we can help you. We do require onsite parking.

Covid 19 and Hygiene

Our equipment is washed and disinfected after use where possible. Our sleepover covers are all removeable and washed and our bedding is laundered after each use with a non-bio washing liquid. Trays and other accessories are washing and disinfected where possible.

Washing and disinfected where possible at the end of the sentence needs to read washed and disinfected.

How much notice do I need to give you to secure a booking?

Please try to book as far in advance as possible. We ask for at least four weeks’ notice, especially for larger numbers or bespoke themes. However please do contact us if you have less notice, we will do our best to support you.

What are your payment terms?

A deposit of 50% of the hire value is required to confirm your booking and reserve your requested dates of hire. The remaining balance is due for payment two weeks before the event unless by prior agreement.

A refundable security deposit of £200 and £50 respectively for igloo and teepee hire is charged on delivery and is refunded within 24 hours after collection, providing there is no damage to the equipment. Failure to pay the agreed balance by the agreed date may result in cancellation of the booking.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We do require a minimum of 14 days’ notice prior to delivery. We will do our best to arrange an alternative date with you. Unfortunately, deposits cannot be refunded in the event the booking is cancelled by the Customer. For more information, please see our Terms and Conditions
